http://www.ncbaglobal.in/MMGridView.aspx?CID=kvdthG/15rY=

About the Author:

After doing M.A. from Calcutta University and specialising  in International Economics Sampat Mukherjee did M.Sc from London School of Economics (University of London) and specialised in Development  Economics. He was fortunate enough to be guided by some pioneers in the field of development economics such as Peter (Lord) Bauer, Hla Myint, Amartya Sen, H.G. Johnson and A. R. Khan. He also benefited from his long interaction with Kaushik Basu. The author has combined his knowledge of International Economics with that of Development Economics and has sought to achieve some sort of synthesis between the two branches of Economics which is indeed the need of the hour in a globalised era.
